What a day, what an experience………

On Saturday 27th January I took part in the London Winter Walk, part of the Ultra Challenge series.

26 miles (42 km) ‘figure of 8’ walk, starting & finishing at The Oval Cricket Ground in Vauxhall. The route headed East along the Thames to a Rest Stop at Rotherhithe, then back on the North Bank for lunch at The Oval.

After lunch we headed West along the Thames taking in some of its historic bridges to a Rest Stop in Parsons Green – before heading back to The Oval finish line, where I was met by Emma and husband, James.
