On Saturday 27th January 2024 – Mandy our fundraiser is raising funds for Connect!

At Connect we rely on donations to run and one of our supporters, Mandy is taking on the London Winter Walk to raise funds. This is a great event to walk off the Christmas and New Year celebrations and Mandy will be walking the full marathon route, starting and finishing at The Oval Cricket Ground in Vauxhall. Taking in the highlights of the Thames, its historic bridges and many of the Capital’s landmarks including, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, The Shard, The London Eye, St. Paul’s Cathedral and Tower Bridge.

Training has started in earnest and she is often seen at Virginia Water doing multiple laps of the lake to build up her walking distances.
