Learn about our opportunities
Connect provides group supervision for trainees and qualified counsellors which is 2 hours fortnightly. Supervision groups are spread across Monday-Friday and, where possible, we try our best to accommodate counsellors’ availability. We accept trainees from local colleges within a 20 mile radius.
Typically, a trainee may enquire to Connect as they approach gaining their certificate of competence at college, but enquiries are welcome before you have gained the certificate of competence.
We hold interviews throughout the year, applicants request an application form from clinical.lead@connectcounselling.org.uk.
As an organisation with a Christian ethos, we are keen to offer placements to trainees with a Christian faith. We recruit on a rolling basis and will be in touch once we have received your application, when we have placement spaces available. If successful at interview, references will be taken up and DBS check conducted.

We ask that trainees commit to counselling at Connect for a year after they are qualified. This is to enrich the team and give back to Connect. In return we offer a nurturing and supportive environment for you to grow as a counsellor and our aim is that trainees flourish here at Connect.
We welcome any questions, please telephone on 01276 24210 or email info@connectcounselling.org.uk we’d love to hear from you.
